Poor Sound System, Poor Performance
Booker T was the only highlight of that concert. The concert was the only highlight of this event.
Tercer Cielo sang so poorly, I couldn't understand a single word. The sound system was muffled and way too loud for The Uptown. I don't get why the songs needed to be introduced. Tercer Cielo appeared to be quite bored with the idea of Kansas City completely and never spoke to us in a personal manner, but rather about each song instead.
There was this awful 'tinny' sound as well. I'm not sure what the issue with the sound system was, but why the guy sitting at the sound board couldn't hear what we did, is a mystery to me. I would guess that would be a situation for the 'artist' to deal with, but it was embarrassing. Unless he works for The Uptown, then it's their issue.
I've never walked out on a concert, but sorry Tercer Cielo, you weren't deserving of the amount I paid, nor of my staying for more of what was really a really poor performance.
